Charter
Autism Foundation was established in Atlanta, Georgia
by David
and Marjorie McKenna, the parents of a son with autism.
Through their personal experience, the McKenna’s
identified an urgent need throughout the country for autism-related
services.
They created the Foundation in 1997 to create and support programs that address the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
As
an organization founded by parents, we bring to bear a total,
personal commitment to make the Foundation an important
force
in the autism community.
